Why branding? A brand represents the face of your company. It's a symbol. It can be representational, abstract, colourful, colourless, shocking, bold, unique, extraordinary. It is what people see first and connect with what you do, or have to offer. It is immediate recognition: think the Golden Arches of McDonalds, the Nike swoosh — instant recognition. Your brand tells current and potential customers who and what you are, at a glance. Through frequent, constant messaging using your logo, slogan and/or company colours, your brand becomes associated with who and what you are: your company name, values, mission, services and integrity. Your brand IS your image. Your brand is YOU. Establishing and creating the right brand is vital for your company’s success now and into the future. Stand out from the crowd. Brand. Rebrand.
Think Print is dead? Think again, it's Not.
Print is still alive and strong, according to the public who is not ready to let go yet. There is something special about holding a book and the smell of it. Only true book lovers understand. Same goes for magazines, I love sitting back with a nice cup of coffee and reading a magazine.
There is also something a little "untrustable" in online articles, maybe because information online can be edited over and over again that it loses credibility, not the same for print. Printed material needs to be proof read over and over again before printed, which gives it that level of trust. I don't think printed books and magazines are gone yet and actually hope they stick around for a long time to come. Happy reading to all! xo
